Insurance Sales Producer

The Opportunity

We’re seeking an ambitious self-starter to join our award-winning Agency as an Insurance Sales Producer! No matter your sales experience, we’ll invest in your success. We understand it takes time to build a business and excel in this field, and we commit to investing in our new team members with ongoing mentorship.

The Responsibilities

  • Meet new business production and retention goals and objectives

  • Solicit new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources

  • Obtain accurate info to develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales

  • Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Property Managers, Bookkeepers, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies, Auto Dealers, etc.

  • Learn and understand the product offerings available and become an expert in advising our clients on how to mitigate risk

The Personality

We are looking for applicants who are ambitious self-starters with a sense of urgency and desire for personal growth. The ideal candidate will:

  • Take responsibility for their time and their results

  • Be eager to learn, listen and know when to pause to ask for help

  • Be easily able to make best friends out of strangers / cold calls

  • Have excellent phone and written communication

  • Be a positive team player who respects others time and is thoughtful in providing timely updates

  • Be comfortable using a CRM system to track results, follow up, collaborate and maintain relationships

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree is a plus

Insurance license not required to apply. You will be expected to obtain your Property and Casualty license before beginning officially and will be compensated for your exam and prep fees after the completion of an initial 90-day trial period.

Compensation

Pay
Target of $40,000 per year between competitive base and commission and bonus opportunities

Hours

Monday-Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
Night and weekends as events arise
