Personal Lines Customer Service & Sales Representative

The Opportunity
We’re seeking an ambitious, hardworking and friendly Customer Service Sales Representative (CSSR) to be part of our growing team! The Weiser Agency prides ourselves in providing top level customer services. As one of the available positions within our Agency, this position will also be responsible for identifying cross-sell opportunities as well as generating new business through leveraging existing Agency marketing platforms.
The Responsibilities
Customer Service
Assist clients to resolve general service inquiries as needed
Follow up with existing and potential clients
Review coverage selections with clients
Internal Sales
Cross sell insurance products, identify sales leads, and follow up with outbound calls
Understand and analyze clients’ life events that may offer sales cues for additional opportunities to meet the clients insurance needs
Perform marketing duties as assigned
Presentation Prep
Help prepare quotes and materials to present to existing and prospective clients.
Perform other duties as assigned.
The Personality
We are looking for applicants who are professional, confident, outgoing and excited about a career in internal sales and service. The ideal candidate will:
Have Property and Casualty and/or Life and Health Insurance license(s)
Understand basic product, billing, underwriting and processing guidelines
Be able to work independently
Have a high-energy, positive approach
Be able to meet individual performance metrics and goals
Successfully juggle multiple priorities at any given time
Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Accept feedback when offered and work well with others
Maintain positive and upbeat written and verbal communications
Research and identify timely solutions to client-related problems
Have solid computer skills with knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
We understand though that all things insurance can be learned so if the right candidate doesn’t have an existing insurance license, s/he can obtain the appropriate license immediately upon joining the team. The CSSR should expect to obtain a Life Insurance License within a reasonable time after joining the Weiser Agency.

Pay
$15.00-$17.00 per hour
